Picture Prompt
Emergency Box For Comfort Writing Prompt
On some days, life feels like an emergency, and nothing fixes it faster than your favorite treat.
In this picture, ice cream is locked away behind glass, ready to be smashed open in case of crisis.
But what about you? What would you keep in your own “emergency box”? Would it hold a food, a toy, a book, music, a photo, or something else that instantly makes you feel better?
Describe what you’d put inside an emergency box and explain why it matters to you.
Describe:
- The item you’ve chosen
- It’s three (or more) best features
- How it helps people in times of stress or sadness
- Why it’s more powerful than other options (convince your reader!)
Extension: Create a diagram (a picture with labels) of your ‘Emergency Box’.
