Rushing Picture Prompt

Describe the scene in slow motion, as if every movement, sound, and heartbeat is stretched out. The runner’s feet lift and land with deliberate weight, his breath roaring in his ears. Each flicker of the overhead lights feels like a pause in time. The faces of bystanders blur into strange still-life portraits, their eyes following his every step. The metallic screech of the train is drawn out, echoing through the station like a warning. The train doors are almost closed — millimetre by millimetre — and every fraction of a second feels like an eternity.
