Picture Prompt
Describing an Orange Picture Prompt
You pick up an orange and turn it over in your hands. How does it feel? Is it smooth or bumpy, heavy or light? You bring it close to your nose—what does it smell like? The skin is firm, but when you press gently, does it give just a little? Before you peel it, take a moment to describe everything about this orange: its color, texture, and scent. Then, begin peeling and describe what happens next.
