One moment, it’s just an ordinary phone. Next, a bird bursts out of the screen, wings beating, feathers flashing.

What kind of bird is it? A hummingbird, fast and dazzling? An eagle, fierce and powerful? Or maybe a bird that doesn’t even exist in the real world — one you invent yourself?

Write a description of the moment. What do you see, hear, and feel as the bird emerges? Does it bring a message, a memory, or even a bit of magic with it?

🪶 Extension Task: What happens next? Does the bird lead you somewhere? Do more creatures appear? Or does it pull you into its world instead of flying into yours?

What are some different types of birds you know?

If a bird suddenly flew out of your screen, what would be your first reaction? Excited? Surprised? Nervous?

What sounds might you hear in that moment? (buzzing wings, flapping, chirping, silence before it appears?)

How would you describe the movement of wings: fast, light, heavy, clumsy or something else?

What might the bird symbolise (perhaps freedom, a message, a dream, or something magical)?

If it wasn’t a real bird, but an imaginary one, what special features could it have? (glowing feathers, mechanical wings, ability to talk?)

How might the bird change your environment? Does it brighten the room, cause chaos, or lead you somewhere new?

What could happen after the bird arrives?
