On the page is a simple robot drawing… until it moves. The lines shimmer, the ink bends, and suddenly the robot begins to lift itself right off the paper. Step by step, it emerges into the real world, leaving the flat page behind.

Write a narrative from the perspective of the robot as it comes alive.

• What does it feel like to pull free from the paper and take your first steps?
• What do you notice about the world around you, so much bigger and brighter than the page?
• Do you feel curious, nervous, excited — or something else?
• What is the very first thing you want to do in this new world?
